Consistency delicious and freshly made traditional Italian based pizzas. I’ve been buying from the Sun for years as the food is always lovely.

I ordered Chicken Breast without batter, so some clever clogs peeled most of the batter off a piece that had already been cooked in batter (leaving chunks still on). The chicken was dry and chewy, with luke warm chips on delivery. Very disappointed :(

Ordered food just before 16.00, asked for delivery at 21.10 and excellent delivery service as it was delivered 5 hrs early at 16.10 , The delivery driver couldn't apologise enough , The staff in the chippy needs to check the delivery times before sending food out so it's not arriving TO EARLY LIKE 5HRS BEFOREHAND ,

Delivered super quick and fresh

Pizzas were greasy and over cooked. Fish had lots of bones. We waited almost an hour and a half for delivery when quoted 25 minute wait at payment.

Food was amazing but both times the haddock has been full of bones! Such a shame as it’s really nice!

Had to phone shop to find out where my delivery was to be told it had left the shop only for it to arrive 30 minutes after the call when I live 10 minutes away food was look warm but still delicious always order from the sun and never had a problem untill tonight

The quality of the food over the past few months has been awful. We've been customers for 18 years so I do not take making this review lightly. - Everything tastes stale and burnt, like the oil isn't being changed frequently enough. - Fish is dry and small. Tastes like cheap frozen fish sadly. - Chips taste awful, and a mixture of overcooked and undercooked potato. - Chips and cheese... The cheese used be put on hot chips so it melted in the box. Cold chips and cheese, yuk. - Portion of chicken nuggets for £5 is now woeful, and the batter also tasted of stale cooking oil. I really do hope that you take these comments on board. We will give you another go, but if no improvement we'll be going elsewhere sadly

Only luke warm when delivered and less than half mile from shop to door. Last time it was straight from the fryer and was deliciously hot!

Delicious as always! Arrived way quicker than promised and was really hot and fresh.

Took 2 hours to arrive, called after an hour and was told it'll arrive soon...okay. Arrived, missing items, soaked with vinegar and salt. Lukewarm too

Worst fish suppers I have had from the Sun. We have used this shop for 40 years . Shame we won’t be back. Poor fish though biggish portion . Chips nothing but scraps hardly a full chip in the order.

I spent nearly £30 on a takeaway tonight and you couldn’t even give me all my items. Part of the order was a pizza meal deal which as you know comes with chips and a can. I received only the pizza. When I called I was told that you would send the chips and can. Someone then phoned me twice to confirm what was missing and confirm my address. Nearly 2 hours later I still haven’t received these items. Pizza is stone cold and now in the bin. Won’t be back.

Ordered online at 5.45, called the store at 7 as delivery time was 6.40, was told it was on its way. Called back at 7.25 as the food wasn't delivered still and was informed it was on its way again. The staff spoke to me like I was being rude for calling and asking where my food was, can tell they are young and inexperienced with customer service or how to speak to customers, received a hesitant apology between muffled laughter. Shame because the food is always nice the store should remove their online order system if they can't keep up with orders efficiently and only deal with walk in customers and calls.

Great pizza, expensive delivery, but then I could get aff ma fat ass N go N collect it. Great pizza!!

Great food, quick delivery and good service

Ordered a pizza and the delivery driver had clearly carried it on its side - all toppings had fallen off the pizza all over the box both inside and out

Ordered spicy chicken wings got chicken nuggets, ordered sausage supper got chips on their own. Tried to contact the restaurant which I understand would have been busy but there was no answer and I didn't want to wait another hour for food
